Key Capabilities
Holotomography reconstructs platelet structure based on refractive index (RI), allowing detailed imaging without dyes, stains, or genetic modification. With HT, you can:
- Visualize individual platelets in true 3D
- Monitor shape change and activation dynamics in real time
- Quantify biophysical parameters such as Cell volume, Surface area , Dry mass, Refractive index distribution
- Perform time-lapse studies with minimal phototoxicity

Role of JAK2V617F mutation on the platelet phenotype.
(A) MIP of refractive index of representative WT and JAK2V617F platelets. (B) Representative three-dimensional surface rendering based on RI of WT and JAK2V617F platelets. (C) Quantitative analysis of biophysical properties (dry mass, mean RI) and morphological parameters (volume, sphericity, surface area and projected area). Statistical analysis: Mean values are displayed above each scatter plot. Data was analyzed using the non-parametric Mann-Whitney test for statistical significance where ns= non-significant, **p<0.01 and ****p<0.0001.; WT n=101, JAK2V617F n=102.
