By combining our expertise with industry leaders, we create advanced platforms that more accurately replicate human biology —transforming preclinical testing, drug efficacy evaluations, and toxicity assessments.

Recognition

Our commitment to advancing precision medicine and cell & gene therapy has earned recognition from leading institutions and industry organizations.

2024

In 2024, Lambda Biologics secured public funding from the Free State of Saxony, supported by the European Union, to accelerate the development of Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs). We’ve partnered with OrganoidSciences, a pioneer in organoid technology, to drive scalable, human-relevant medical innovations and bring them to the forefront of precision medicine.

2025

In 2025, Lambda Biologics has been honored with the BioTech Breakthrough Award for Cell & Gene Therapy Innovation. This recognition celebrates our ODISEI organoid-based discovery platforms and ODISEI ONC patient-derived cancer organoid platform, which are enabling more predictive, human-relevant models for CGT development while supporting animal-free testing approaches.

Commitment to Collaboration & Excellence

At Lambda Biologics, we advance ethical science by championing global partnerships and celebrating innovation. Through active involvement in industry initiatives and our own Lambda Awards, we honor those who push the boundaries of human-relevant, non-animal research.
In line with our mission, we established the Lambda Award to recognize excellence in biological research and innovation, with categories in:
  • Technology Excellence Award
  • Lambda AFI Award (Advancing animal-alternative testing methods)
  • Bio Award (Outstanding biological imaging and storytelling)
At Lambda Biologics, we are committed to shaping the future of life sciences through global collaboration and ethical innovation. We serve on the Organoid Developer Conference (ODC) organizing committee and support the Animal Free Initiative, reinforcing our dedication to human-relevant and non-animal testing methods.

HT-X1: A Label-Free Imaging Breakthrough for Organoid-Based Disease Modeling and Drug Screening

Tomocube (Spatial)

“Traditional microscopy methods often require fluorescent labeling to analyze cellular structures, which can be time-consuming and invasive. In contrast, our HT-X1 system allows for high-resolution visualization of cellular morphology without the need for any labeling, offering a clear advantage in live-cell imaging. To validate this capability, we conducted an organoid-based analysis using intestinal organoids...
