General Information

Visium

Price:
  • Visium Spatial Gene Expression enables comprehensive transcriptomic profiling directly within intact tissue sections, allowing researchers to study gene expression while preserving spatial architecture. This approach provides critical insights into tissue heterogeneity, cellular organization, and region-specific biological processes that cannot be captured by bulk or dissociated single-cell methods alone.
  • Lambda Biologics delivers Visium as a fully supported service, optimized for both FFPE and fresh frozen (FF) samples, ensuring reliable and reproducible spatial transcriptome data for translational and discovery research.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Visium suitable for my tissue type and sample quality?
Visium is compatible with both FFPE and fresh frozen tissues, making it suitable for clinical samples, archived specimens, and research tissues. Lambda Biologics evaluates tissue quality upfront to ensure your samples meet the requirements for generating reliable spatial transcriptomic data.
Visium is ideal for studies that require spatial context, such as identifying region-specific gene expression, characterizing tissue heterogeneity, analyzing tumor microenvironments, and understanding cell–cell interactions within intact tissues.
Visium provides high-resolution spatial gene expression at the level of tissue regions (spatial spots), not true single-cell resolution. Each spot represents a small area containing multiple cells, enabling robust spatial pattern analysis across complex tissues.
You will receive spatial gene expression matrices, histological images with spatial overlays, and bioinformatics analyses such as clustering and differential expression. Optional pathological advisory reports are available to support biological interpretation and translational relevance.
Lambda Biologics provides scientific consultation to help you determine whether Visium, single-cell sequencing, or a combined approach best fits your research objectives, sample type, and desired resolution.

HT-X1: A Label-Free Imaging Breakthrough for Organoid-Based Disease Modeling and Drug Screening

Tomocube (Spatial)

“Traditional microscopy methods often require fluorescent labeling to analyze cellular structures, which can be time-consuming and invasive. In contrast, our HT-X1 system allows for high-resolution visualization of cellular morphology without the need for any labeling, offering a clear advantage in live-cell imaging. To validate this capability, we conducted an organoid-based analysis using intestinal organoids...
